Ice Nova is a Frost Magic Skill that deals damaged in a close ranged AoE with an added chance to freeze your enemies.

(Frozen enemies cannot move until the ice melts, or until they are struck by another attack. Physical strikes on frozen enemies will always be critical hits)

Note that Frosty Friend, Summon Plant, and Cloud Strike will also do critical hits on frozen enemies.

Base Charge

.A nova of ice centred around you damages and Chills any enemy in range. Enemies that become Chilled will have decreased resistance against critical strikes, and will also be slowed unless immune.

The spell also has a small chance of Freezing an enemy. Frozen enemies cannot move until the ice melts, or until they are struck up by up to three other attacks, depending on the attacks strength. Frozen targets are significantly more vulnerable to critical strikes.

The chance to Freeze is increased significantly if the enemy is already Chilled. Recently Frozen enemies are more resistant.

Bronze Charge
Deals a bit more damage, and has a greater chance of freezing enemies on hit.
Silver Charge

The nova has more energy, traveling further and dealing more damage. Chance to freeze is higher.

Gold Charge

Conjures a giant nova split into two parts. The first one Stuns and Chills enemies, followed by ice spikes knocking enemies into the air and potentially freezing them.

For Level 10 Ice Spikes, performance is as follows:

  • Total Damage based on MATK:
    • Base: 150%
    • Bronze: 217.5%
    • Silver: 310%
    • Gold: 200% (first wave) + 400% (second wave) = 600%

Chill

Chill chance is 100% and affected by the Blue Slime Card

Non Gold:

  • Duration: (4+1 * Level) seconds
  • Slow power: 20%
  • Crit vulnerability: 1.65 + 0.1 * Level + 0.25 + Charge

Gold:

  • Duration: 7s
  • Slow power: 35%
  • Crit vulnerability: 5
