The Red King is an arcade quest available from Oldman after building the Tavern. The player is tasked with defeating Furious Giga Slime, who appears as the boss of Floor 02 (Evergrind Forest).

Walkthrough
This is one of the most difficult quests in Arcade Mode, so prepare accordingly.
For most builds, Blink is almost essential for this fight. Either save a skill point for it, or refund one from your main skill. If you ever get stuck in red slime, you can use it to escape it before Red Giga Slime jumps on top of you.
If you feel confident enough, you can minimize the area covered by goo by making Red Giga Slime jump close to already slimed areas. This will give you more time to deal with FGS, and makes it more likely that existing slime patches will start despawning.
Furious Giga Slime has a saw phase at 50% HP. It is similar to Giga Slime's saw phase, except FGS leaves behind red slime patches.
The saw phase is less dangerous than Giga Slime's normal attacks if you can reliably Perfect Guard the saw. It also gives existing slime patches more time to expire (as long as you aren't creating large areas of new slime by running away from the saw).
