Walkthrough
Luckily, Luke will have provided you with 1000 Honey, completing the first objective right at the start.
To get the Royal Jelly, you will have to kill the Queen Bee. She is summoned once most of the Beehives in the lower Pillar Mountains are destroyed.
After getting the Royal Jelly, you can speak to Quinton to start the festival. During the festival, you need to participate in three different activities: the running, fishing, and strength challenges. It's not important to win them, and you can repeat the running and fishing challenges as many times as you want.
After doing each of the activities once, Dad will task you to get baking soda from the lab. After fetching the soda, going back in the hallway will trigger the Black Ferrets boss fight, so be prepared for it.
After defeating the bandits, you can explore Ivy's office for a bit. There will be multiple reading prompts, but you need to read the one closest to the chair.
The prompts read:
“ | A book filled with horror stories, one for each day of the year. Creepy! | ” |
“ | 3x Cursed Skulls
1x Black Heart Crystal 1x Lich King’s Crown 2x Nightmare Scepters 1x Helm of the Great Dreamer 1x Sword of Lies …still not enough! |
” |
“ | It’s a book written by Conny Spircey, titled “Lost knowledge – Accident or Arson?”
It seems to be about a long series of unexplained fires that led to the destruction of many historical documents, most notably nearly everything relating to the time before the Cataclysm. Since the fires happened over hundreds of years, the author suspects an ancient secret cult to be behind it… |

“ | Grand Master Ivy,
I beg of you to forgive my husband! I am certain he never meant to lose your favorite cookbook… Please let us return home, it’s so very cold here and the children are starving. - Anita |
” |
“ | This skull looks really heavy! How did the Black Ferrets move it all the way here? | ” |
“ | A box filled with pieces of cloth. They’re so soft and thin you can barely feel them! | ” |
“ | Dear Grand Master, I’ve studied the scrolls you sent me, and they are indeed genuine documents from around the time of the Cataclysm. What an amazing find!
They seem to be a decree to stow away a powerful relic. Due to the old style of writing, I cannot be sure, but I believe they wished to hide it from someone very dangerous. Judging from the context, this artifact is not the only one of its kind, but the others were mentioned but in passing. I don’t know exactly what or where they are. I do happen to know where to find this particular one, however. Let’s meet up this Friday at Belmont’s place and I’ll tell you about everything I found. You’ll have to pay, of course; I can’t afford his insane prices! Sweetest regards, Your loving subject Professor Mandrake |

Notes
- During the festival, Evergrind City is set to night time.
- Katarina has finished building the Rabby statue in front of HQ when the festival begins.
- Sadly, actually having 1.000 Honey prior the quest doesn't change anything, and Luke still gives you his.
