The Museum is Closed is a side quest that involves gathering ingredients from Pumpkin Woods and Tai Ming, and also features a potentially difficult miniboss. Completing it also grants access to the upper levels of the museum.

- Talk to Candy in Pumpkin Woods
- Deliver to Candy
- Return to Katarina
- Meet Katarina in Port Monnaie
- Find a Statue's Hairpin
- Return to Katarina
Walkthrough
Katarina, the stonecutter, will be inside Belmont’s Restaurant as usual, though she won't be able to go to Port Monnaie until you get her sunscreen. You can get it by talking to Candy and gathering ingredients for her.
Candy will ask for the following items:

Pumpkin Meat - 1
Ectoplasm - 1 Kingweed Root.
The Pumpkin Meat and the Ectoplasm can be obtained from Jumpkins and Ghostys, respectively. The Kingweed Root will require defeating Kingweed, a miniboss unique to this quest, which will spawn in the big field inside the second zone of Pumpkin Woods.
Kingweed is similar to the Terrorweed boss in Arcade Mode Pumpkin Woods, though it is stronger, and has additional moves:
- It can summon multiple, stronger than average Jumpkins
- It may set on fire all thorns it spawned, creating fire hazards in their place
As with Terrorweed, it targets your position upon burrowing, instead of tracking your current position.
After killing Kingweed and obtaining the sunscreen, Katarina will go to Poorie's Museum. Afterwards, she will need the following items to repair the statue:

Ancient Rocks - Statue’s Hairpin
The ancient rocks can be found from the Ancient Statues in Tai Ming, while the Hairpin can be found at the collapsed statue next to the Zen Garden bridge.
Tips
- Skills which can break multiple thorns quickly may be useful against Kingweed
