Crystal Clear is a side quest accessible after obtaining the season change ability, however progress requires completing the quest Festival! first.
Objectives
- Find someone to help Jones cut up the large crystal
- Help Katarina with her debt by paying Belmont or making sure she gets paid
- Talk to Katarina
- Meet Katarina in Mt Bloom
- Craft a Crystal Chisel
- Return to Katarina
Walkthrough
Katarina is able to work on the crystal, however she will only be available after the Festival!. She is located in Belmont’s Restaurant, and is stuck there due to a debt issue. You can either pay 8200 gold yourself, or talk to Quinton so that Katarina gets her paycheck and can pay the debt herself.
Once in Mt. Bloom, Katarina will need a Crystal Chisel. It can be crafted using a one time recipe revealed by the quest, and requires the following ingredients:

Crystal Crumbs, obtainable from Guardians in Flying Fortress - 3
Large Crystal, dropped by Spinsects in Mt. Bloom
The Crystal Chisel is consumed in the process. After destroying the big crystal, you can go back in Evergrind City and talk to Katarina in Belmont's Restaurant to finish the quest.
