Phase-Off is a side quest that can be started after obtaining the Twi-Sight ability. It involves an optional phase course in Flying Fortress that is normally locked, but which can be accessed after this quest.

- Find Tannie's secret Trick Phase course in the Flying Fortress
- Beat the course!
Walkthrough
- Note: The phase course can be extremely hard if you're aiming for all rewards. If you are stuck at any point, go watch this video for a 14 seconds solution.
Tannie is located in Pumpkin Woods's graveyard, but you will need Twi-Sight active to see her. After talking to her and accepting the quest, she will fly towards the Flying Fortress's secret phase course.
You can reach the course by going towards the right wing of the fortress. The phase course will be located on the right of the building's entrance, and Tannie (who can be seen with Twi-Sight) will open the door for you once talked to.
Completing the quest only requires getting through the phase course and reaching the end. After the first completion of the course, a timer will appear which will display the time taken during future attempts.
There are three rewards at the end of the phase course, each with their own conditions for obtaining. These will also count towards the completion rate of Flying Fortress (even if you've already completed the quest in the Journal):
Robot Ears, obtained after beating the phase course once- Wisp Pet, after completing the phase course in under 90 seconds
Laser Claymore, after beating the phase course in under 20 seconds
There are multiple shortcuts which can be used. These can save a lot of time, and are needed to get the final reward.
If you want to reset back to the beginning of the phase course at any point, stand on one of the pressure plates located at checkpoint or the end, and press your Attack / Interact button (default: Z). This will bring a prompt asking you if you want to go back to the start.
