A Tiny Little Errand is a sub-quest of A Matter of Time, requiring you to gather a few items before being allowed access to the hidden city of Tai Ming.
Objectives
- Find a cave with a big rock in Mt. Bloom
- Return to Lurifix
- Find the second item
Walkthrough
Lurifix blocks the way to Tai Ming, and he asks you to find 2 items for him.
The first item is in a cave in the south west part of Mt. Bloom, with no enemies and a giant rock blocking the way. Three invincible Spinsects will spawn, which the player needs hit into the rock to break it. After a few swings, smaller rocks will fall down which make it harder to hit the boulder, and two more Spinsects spawn as well. The item is in a chest after the rock breaks and the Spinsects retreat.
The second item is in a cave directly south of Lurifix, near the water. It's blocked by a haggling caveling who offers to move if you pay a ridiculous amount of gold. Through reverse-haggling from Bag, he drops the price to 1 gold and allows you entrance to the Power Flower boss fight.
The Power Flower boss fight requires you to focus killing both enemies and the boss at the same time, as both will become vulnerable in different points in the battle. Killing the Power Flower allows the player entrance to the next room, where the second item is located in a chest.
After returning the items to Lurifix it appears he needs one more item, prompting the quest Last Favor (Promise!).
Tips
- Area of Effect spells such as Ice Nova can be useful in the Power Flower boss fight. Additionally, having plenty of EP Regen from items or from channeling Focus can help with killing the respawning minions
Notes
- Outside of this quest, the amount of gold you have to pay the haggling caveling is actually your current amount of gold + 1. The player is effectively prevented entry until they get to the second item objective
